Some unsigned artistes in the South-East region of Nigeria could be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when record labels and stake holders of the Nigeria music industry from across the country will be attending the first Imo Artistes Conference hoping to shop for fresh talents.

The event which will be taking place on Saturday April 29, 2017 at Imo International Convention Center Owerri, Imo State, will have the likes of afropop legend Tuface Idibia, Mr. Atiba of Imperial Music and  GospelOnTheBeatz as speakers owing to their wealth of experience in the industry.

The all-female entertainers’ concert, Divas Stage Tour will have its first edition in 2017 take place at Lodan Hotels, Owerri Imo State on Saturday April 15, 2017.

According to a release on the official website of the concert, www.divasstagetour.com.ng, the event which is tagged ‘The Lodan Experience’ will be marking the first edition in 2017 and will it see the girls have a repeat of the experience they had in the debut edition last year.

Perhaps, it is time for the manifestation of the promise of Chief of Staff to Government House Imo State, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu that he would see to F2’s success to any level as the rapper is set to hold his ‘Shima’ album listening party at the famous Bongo Center.

In what has been seen as an act of spitting fire and brimstone, ace Imo State based music producer Yung Roc has made it clear that he is only down for business and would never offer any form of help to any artiste no matter who he is.

The producer took to Facebook to say: “Never to help any Owerri artiste again… Never!!! If you are down for business show up, but if U are looking for help from me, you’ll get zero….
You are looking for growth and game when you cannot respect your foundation route succeeding… nonsense... #DisrespectfulBreed…”
