Afro pop singer Miss Ebe Blossom Obianuju aka Blossy has floated an NGO, Next Generation Initiative, where she helps to encourage school children to read and write.

According to the singer who made her debut into the music industry last year, their mission is to bring to limelight the relevance of helping a child acquire reading and writing skills at their early school experience,  and they do so by talking to kids and  donating the books to them.

Hon. Chukwunonye Irouno has revealed that Bayelsa state born star Timaya will be in Owerri for Democracy Day concert tagged Imo Music Talent Bonanza, where lots of artistes will also be empowered by the state government.

Hon. Irouno who is the Senior Special Assistant to Imo State Governor on Entertainment and Public Affairs, said the event will continue from where it stopped at the Imo Artistes Conference and the auditioned hip-hop artistes will be performing alongside Timaya on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Hero’s Square Owerri, Imo State.

One of such moves is to release this romantic snippet of a song which her management tagged ‘romantic ringtone’ for her fans around the world.

The ringtone is surely out in an anticipation of something great from the versatile Imo State born singer who has recently impressed with singles like ‘This Year’, ‘Na Wash’, etc.

DJ Blaze McBede who recently said he will train more than 30 female Disk Jockeys in the next 12 months, has revealed that the training is still running but frowned at the poor interest shown by the females in the Disk Jockeying business.

DJ Blaze McBede who spoke to www.otowngist.com said the females fluctuate with their interest, adding that “Today they are in, tomorrow they are out”.

With the exclusion of female artistes in some high profile events especially in the eastern part of Nigeria becoming the order of the day, frontline blogger and writer, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike has spoken out to say that the trend has to end because the ladies deserve more than they are getting.

Hardy who runs the event Divas Stage Tour, a concert for only female entertainers, said most of the female artistes who are always excluded are better than some males who are listed in events.
