Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has hinted that Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Recsue Mission Administration is keeping to its promise of resuscitating moribund industries in Imo State  and providing employment to the teeming unemployed youths.

Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere who represented the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha made this remark while performing the unveiling ceremony of the resuscitated Statesman Newspaper at the premises Imo Broadcasting Corporation, which also accommodates Imo Newspapers, the publishers of Statesman over the weekend.

After an emergency security council meeting, the Imo State Governor, Owelle Tochas Okorocha has promised M5 Naira to any who will provide information that will lead to the arrest of the fleeing suspected kidnaper, Henry Chibueze aka Vampire.

Vampire who was whisked away from the court where he was standing trial in a gun battle that took three lives with another two critically injured is considered dangerous and his whereabouts are unknown to anyone at the moment.

The fate of over 20,000 local government staff in Imo State now hangs on the balance following the recent issuance of queries to many of its 27 LGA Workers by the State Government.
On resumption of work Tuesday, January 10, 2017,  many staff of the Imo State Local Government system were handed letters of query most of which were based on poor staff attendance to work.
