Orient 94.4 FM Owerri presenter Imuche Chukwu has lost his mother few days after Christmas. Ezinne Sabina Chukwu who died after a brief illness on Thursday, December 29, 2016 was described as a rare gem by her son who anchors Ututu Oma, Oge Ndi Eze, Igbo Ezuo in the Igbo broadcast of Orient FM/TV.

It was all praises to God for a life well spent as the Abaronye's laid their father to rest in far away Amakam, Eziudo in Exzinihitte Mbaise LGA.

 After a requiem mass at St. Augustine's Catholic Church , Eziudo, Ezinna Augustin Abaraonye was laid to rest in his home.


The Madonna University Alumni Association on December 3, 2016 concluded her 4th National Convention, which also saw the election of new executives that will pioneer the affairs of the association for the next three years.

The convention which took place at Tourist Garden Hotels and Resort Asaba, Delta State had 14 state chapters from across the country, as the association used the platform to look into issues that will ensure it becomes a world class Alumni Association.

Yesterday, the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere with the family members performed the final burial of the remains of his step mother, Ugoeze Theresa Madumere who was aged 71.

Prince Madumere who delivered the funeral oration on the exited Ugoeze Madumere eulogized her as a faithful wife and a great mother who played very important roles in their upbringing.

Like a drama of Golgotha... They chanted kill him kill him and to make real their threat they gave him a hot chase to the extent that the escaping suspect nearly rammed into Prince Eze Madumere, the Deputy Governor of Imo State's  convoy in the high browse area of Asokoro yesterday evening.

Suspecting he was a kidnapper with all the chase and when the man at the center of all the  brouhaha was finally forced to pull over his matrix car with dark tinted glass  with  Prince Madumere's convoy also caught in the cross fire. It was a spontaneous traffic gridlock as confusion became the only certain normal caused by irate commuters and motorists who were involved in the chase.
