The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere yesterday called on every well meaning Nigerian to extend support to the families of fallen heroes to ameliorate their sufferings.

Prince Madumere made this call during a special church service in memory of Nigerian fallen heroes in the Chapel of Praise at his his country home in Achi-Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government of Imo State.

Prince Madumere also called for special prayers for the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic for God's protection as they continue to make sacrifices for the protection of life and property and the territorial integrity of Nigeria.


The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has called for a symbiotic relationship between the business communities and their host communities, describing it as a panacea to achieving  peaceful and progressive coexistence.

Prince Madumere made this call through his Special Assistant on Special Duties, Hon. Emeka Ajih during the commissioning of a "Youth Center" built and donated to Irete Autonomous Community in Owerri West Local Government of Imo State by Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC).

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has hailed Governor Okorocha for the massive road rehabilitation exercise going on in State, describing such as the hallmark of governance considering the present economic situation.

Prince Madumere's commendation was contained in a press release signed by His Special Assistant on Media, Uche Onwuchekwa.


Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has described Imo State as the emerging home of tourism in Nigeria."

Prince Madumere made this revelation yesterday while speaking to newsmen in Calabar during 2016 "#MyCalabar Carnival."

Prince Madumere who hailed Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State for hosting the world in a well packaged carnival that is of international standard said he was in Calabar on behalf of Governor Okorocha in solidarity to the Government and people of Cross River as they celebrate their cultural festivities and carnival.

A former Governor of Imo state, Ikedi Ohakim, has said that the current economic crisis facing Nigeria will latter on become a bless to the country.

Ohakim, stated that the country's recession was a wake up call to everybody because Nigeria was entering a period of social and intellectual conditions that would only distinguish those who are hardworking and are credible.
