The Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has charged 2017 corps members deployed to serve in the state to shun hate speech.
Madumere gave the admonition yesterday at Eziama Obaire, in Nkwerre LGA of the state during the official opening of the orientation course for the 2017 Batch A stream II, corps members deployed to serve in the state.



Imo State House of Assembly is set to host members of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria on September 20, 2017 as they push to have one voice on the quit notice given to the Igbo in the North by the Northern youths.

Speaking during an interactive session with some bloggers and journalist in Owerri, the speaker of Imo State House, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim, said the move is to ensure that Nigeria remains one nation where everyone will be free to live in any part of the country. He further stated that they have the support of the governor to host the event which will make Imo Assembly pacesetters in the nation.

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has tasked Nigerians to embrace charity as a way of life.
 
The Deputy Governor made this call shortly after a church service at the Chapel of Praise, Anglican Communion, Mbaitoli local government of Imo state last Sunday.
 
He described charity as a rare virtue behind his fulfillment and success stories of many.  In his testimony, he said his resolve to always celebrate with the less privileged on his birthdays is because of its fulfilling experience.
 

The Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha with other notable Nigerians yesterday bade farewell to late ace journalist of Channels Television, Mr. Chukwuma Onuekwusi.

Governor Okorocha through his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere described late Onuekwusi as proud illustrious son of Imo State who won so much laurels to the State through his profession.


The government of Imo State has vowed to bring to book those behind the use of substandard materials and employment of quacks in building projects in the State.
 
This remark was made by the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere who visited the scene of collapsed building in Umueke-Oforola, Owerri west local government of Imo State. The unfortunate incident led to the loss of three lives in the family of nine. The affected persons were the bread winner of the family; Mr. Marcellanus Okpomechela and two of his children. The remaining six were rescued for the quick response of the vigilant youths in collaboration with government agencies.
