Gunmen suspected to be assassins have killed a businessman, Chief Emmanuel Bini, in Agbarho community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
PUNCH Metro gathered that a young man said to be his sales attendant was also reportedly shot dead in the attack.
Sources said that the gory incident occurred on Saturday when the hoodlums struck at the deceased Chief’s chemist and PoS shop located at the popular Five-Junction in Agbarho.
It was gathered that while the sales boy was shot dead at the shop, the hoodlums whisked away the Chief in a vehicle and his lifeless body was eventually discovered later on Monday morning in the Ebrumede community, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer for Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
He stated however that the police are “aware of the killing of the Chief only.”
