The leadership of the Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is working tirelessly to unsettle the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

This was on Friday demonstrated when in a statement, the party urged Tarabans to put aside their differences and frustrate the ruling PDP in the state in its bid to form the next government come 2023.

A statement signed by the party’s spokesperson, Aaron Artimas, said, “we are more irritated and baffled by the whining and shameless views of some disgruntled PDP desperados who instead of hiding their face and covering their noses to this nauseating spectacle are busy poking their noses elsewhere.

“For many years the PDP and their cohorts in the society have exploited the fears of people by abrogating to themselves the exclusive rights to protect their political and social interests, the time to conquer the fear spread by PDP to suppress and exploit our people has come.

”It is time to rise to the occasion and end their odorous stranglehold on the state, fear is the main source of superstition and one of the main sources of cruelty.”

The APC also described the PDP as a capitalist party, saying capitalist elements don’t pity the poor.

The party also expressed support for PDP aggrieved governorship aspirants that are presently calling for the disqualification of the PDP guber candidate, arguing that the candidate neither purchased the expression of interest and nomination forms nor was screened by the party’s screening committee in Bauchi state.

“Now, fast forward to 2022. Lt Col. Kefas Agbu, never bought a form, was never screened and was comfortably serving as the party’s state chairman, he suddenly, in the PDP’S way, became governorship candidate”.

APC, through its governorship candidate, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, it would be recalled recently indicted the PDP of fueling the ongoing wrangling in the party which has led to a series of litigations.
