Arsenal has officially announced that goalkeeper Karl Hein has signed a new contract with the club. The Gunners shared the news on their website Monday evening.

“We’re delighted to confirm Karl Hein has signed a new contract with the club,” read part of Arsenal’s statement.

Hein joined Arsenal in 2018 from Nõmme United, debuting at age 16. The Estonia international began his Arsenal career as a scholar and turned professional the following year.

Hein made his first appearance in the first-team squad during a Europa League match and spent the latter half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Championship side Reading.

“I’m delighted to extend my contract and continue my journey at this amazing club after six years,” Hein commented upon signing the new deal.
