Nigerian disc jockey and philanthropist, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has made history as the first Nigerian to host the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA event, themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”

In addition to moderating, DJ Cuppy also delivered a captivating musical performance after her keynote session, adding to the excitement of the gathering. Her session made history by becoming the largest youth gathering in the history of the UN Headquarters.
