Nollywood star Ini Edo has revealed her engagement, sharing the exciting news that she is set to walk down the aisle again in what she describes as a fairytale wedding. The actress, who made the announcement on her Instagram handle on Sunday, shared a heartfelt story of how her life changed six months ago during a vacation, leading to her engagement three months later.
In the Instagram post, Ini Edo expressed her joy, writing, “That bright Sunday morning six months ago, while on vacation, we crossed paths, and our lives never remained the same. Exactly three months later you asked me to be with you forever. How did I get so lucky?” She continued, “They say, ‘your flaws are perfect for the heart that is meant to love you.’ I now believe this wholeheartedly. My fairytale wedding is almost here.”
The actress also hinted that preparations for her wedding are underway, inviting fans to mark the date, October 20, 2024, in their calendars. Edo’s engagement marks a new chapter in her life after her previous marriage to businessman Philip Ehiagwina ended in 2014.
Reflecting on her personal journey, Edo had mentioned in an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa last December that she sought someone who would offer love, respect, and kindness, qualities she seems to have found in her fiancé.
