The 29th of April, 2017 witnessed the launch of Afro100 Newsletter themed ‘The Rebirth’ for the month of May. Afro100 is an entertainment media outfit with a mission to ‘showcase Africa…’ to the world. Afro100 metamorphosed from PopShugar, an entertainment source for Francophone and Anglophone countries in West Africa. The brand has activated top notch sold out events in Ghana, Benin Republic and Nigeria.

The Newsletter launch held at Club X Factor situated on Adeniran Oygunsanya, Surulere, a surbub of Lagos. Jhybo, Terry Apala, Dic Ailes,, Slim Case, Popito, SayWat, Page,K.West, Spiffy, Kach and other music acts electrified the night with breathtaking performances that left the audience asking for more.

The maiden edition featured City Fm’s Head of Strategy and Business Manager, Nnamdi ‘The Boss’ Obanya, Fast emerging music acts, Terry Apala, CDQ, Popito, Page and one of Africa’s best Hip-Hop group from Cote D’ Ivoire Kiff No Beat. Therein are also exclusive pictures from Iyanya’s EP listening session, YCEE’s EP release party ‘The First Wave’ and Dammy Krane’s Live in Cotonu. Soji Ogunnaike, a youthful entrepreneur graced the Face of Afro100 while we remember Dagrin, who is arguably Nigeria’s greatest rapper that has ever lived.
