History was made last night (July 19, 2012) at De Signature Lounge when TFonly.com organized the first O’town Artiste Night.

As a newborn event and the first of its kind, many doubted its credibility probably because it did not get the kind of publicity other shows have gotten.

O’town Gist Entertainment was there and we can say authoritatively that the show was a huge success on the area of turn up and quality of performances.

In his welcome speech, Mr Austin Uzo, the CEO, TFOnly.com made it clear that the event has come to stay and he will be working hard to see that every new edition witnesses a remarkable improvement.

He also said that he is looking forward to seeing an artiste in Owerri walk away with N1,000,000 after performing in the event, noting that he has the experience, having organized such event in the UK and USA.

On the anchor were Real Playa and Acharaman while Deejay Saquo ran the sounds in his excellent way.

The show was a more music thing with Seaflo kicking off the event.

After Seaflo came Drills, Young F and Aifee who performed Makachukwu and his latest single Chairman Sir.

Sexy Money came one, then Divinchy with Lalolo and Ginger my thing. Fly K performed with Seaflo and it was time for the first side attraction, which was a birthday moment for this hot and pretty sister Julia Ceaser.

Real Playa performed his latest single featuring Seaflo, which was more like a birthday gift for Julia who danced with them until the end after which E-Black stole his part of the show with Point and Kill a track that took many to the dancing floor.

It was time for Suspense to perform, after which T.O came on stage. Naut-B did not miss his new thing like others as he performed New Fine Boys in his sensational way.

It was time for the red man, Red Loaf to rock the stage, dancing and whining with the kind of attitude no one exhibited and you can’t take it away from the brother who gave the microphone to Iejay.

Iejay came on with a sensational love song as well as a female dancer who would never leave his body, that was so much of a rocking.

2Blac came on after which the WBI fresh boy Kenny Cee performed My Way, it was a good one from this young dude and I want to quote him a little “na who no know person na im dey call am oboy, I too rich for this street omo no be talk, because say I de follow you de shine teeth, e no mean say we be mate for street, omo give me my way”

After Kenny Cee came the second birthday and that was for another sister Chizzy, then I asked myself, don’t brothers have birthdays?

As the show gets older, Acharaman took to the MIC with Sherikoko, Relax and another track with Red Loaf. These brother really rocked the stage and being among the organizers of the event, he waiting till that moment when the crowd wanted him to come on.

After Acharaman’s thrilling performance, Young D, Asopat, UC J and Ice G came on before the one and only female artiste in the building, Sofia came with a whining performance to end the show.

Also in the building were Dj Aize Bag, Reflex, Big Slai, Phlaims Magazine, LNG, Hardy of O’town Gist Entertainment as well as other producers in town.

It’s all about the Artistes and their things, next Thursday same venue, same show, better quality and you don’t want to miss that.

Below are some of the pix at the event. More will surely come with the reactions of the artistes as well an exclusive interview with Mr Austin Uzo.
