Mr. George was the chairman of the 2011 Imo Carnival Project.

According to him, the proposal which was submitted to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in June 2011, was approved in November.

Mr. George frowned that every effort to receive the money from government has failed.

He said creditors have been harassing him over the money he borrowed from them.

Mr. George was dismayed that the state government decided to treat him unfairly rather than appreciating his efforts in contributing to the development of tourism in the state.

“I will do everything legally possible to get back the money to be able to pay the creditors”, he submitted.
