Rapper turned online promoter, Luther Mathew has made the list of entertainers switching side in the industry, by being an artistes and a promoter at the same time.
Nollywood stars have been targeted by critics recently for delving into the musical side of their talent. Although none has actually recorded a lasting success, Tontoh Dikeh has recorded what many referred to as instant success which was preceded by instant failure, where millions of people around the world downloaded her songs within a space of few days, only to delete these songs from their devices as soon as they could. With the release of his second official single ‘Go down dia’, Luther is optimistic that he would be among the first people succeeded with double career in the entertainment industry. He however denied that he is shying away from the latest proliferation in the Nigeria music industry where many songs within the last three months have been released with the title ‘Go down low’.

The computer science graduate however agreed that most of the graduate in the industry have come in because of the high rate of unemployment, yet adding that music could be a good companion if one decides to study to the level of PhD.
