The much publicized Star Nite, which is another version of artistes’ night in Owerri is set to thrill both artistes and fans of music and entertainment around the state and beyond.
The founder of the event Deejay Saquo is still maintaining his previous statement that the event was meant to celebrate artistes and not to exploit them, adding that the first edition of the event will be something no one has ever witnessed in town.
“The event will kick off with a red carpet event covered by CTL Africa, Orient TV’s O’town Magic and we expect the celebs and ladies to be gorgeous on it.
For the event to retain its value, we won’t be having all our top artistes on stage in one night, it will be mixed, but for sure all of them will be at the venue to cheer their colleagues up.” He said.
Being a music, dance and comedy event, an official list of performers goes thus:
Musicians: Kokoma, Derb J, XP Joe, 2Blac, Femilarge, E Black, XBusta, Harmony, Profinga, Seaflo, Lo-Key, BreezyKool, CyndyO and MsZoe.
Dancers: Eva, Flipmode and Cypha, Healing Stream Dance Crew and Jwolves.
Comedians: MC Ominimini and Mc Banana Mouth
Anchor: Real Player.
The all night event holding at Valencia Lounge, World Bank Housing Estate Owerri, will start with the Red Carpet event by 7:00pm with the main event starting proper by 9:00pm.
