I‘ll not be a one-track artiste – Joyce

Joyce Okonkwo after her first single ‘Because You love me’ has vowed to bounce back to the music scene as soon as possible.
Having performed the song in events recently, she said she has finally gotten the taste of what it takes to be an artiste and will surely keep up with spirit when her next single drops.

According to her, doing music is not about releasing singles every week, but taking time to see that the ones released sunk into the heart of people listening to it.
“I won’t leave the industry as a one-track artiste, my second single will surely come, but I and my management are taking time to see that we bring out something that will worth all the waiting.
We are aware that people are waiting because the approach we have taken is so unusual for a gospel artiste, but ‘once upon a time’ begins every story and we have just started a new chapter for a brand new gospel artiste” she said.
She however added that she is aware that doing music is not an easy thing especially for someone at her age, but she believes that with the support she is getting from her family and management as well as the grace of God which is ever sure in her life, no mountain will be too high for her to climb.
