Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State Wednesday wielded the big stick by sacking his 75-man expended executive council.
He however left the Secretary to the government, Prof Gozie Anthony Anwuka and Chief of Staff (CoS), Sir Jude Ejiogu.

A statement dated July 17, 2013 and signed by Prof Anwuka disclosed that those sacked were the commissioners, political advisers, senior special assistants and special assistants.
The statement directed the sacked commissioners to hand over all government property in their possession to their respective permanent secretaries while the political advisers hand over to the secretary to government.
It further stated that senior special assistants and special assistants are to hand over to the Chief of Staff, adding that all handover formalities are to be completed on or before Friday, July 19, 2013.
Okorocha had on May 28 served notice that he was going to sack his cabinet in a bid to bring in others who needed to be compensated for their efforts in enthroning the rescue mission administration.
