Ken-Z has announced that his next set of singles will be dropping on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
The Imo State born United States based singer who chose to dish out two singles at once against the single track he released early this year, said he chose to do it that way because of what the people wanted.
He however said that doing any afro inclined genre of music on a foreign land where a different culture is dominant has not been easy, but he is doing what he must do the only way it can be done well.
“Doing afro pop or any other afro inclined music abroad will never be an easy task because the people here are just trying love what we are doing.
Aside Nigerians and people from other African countries who love these genres you realize that your fan base will not be as large as that of those doing the same thing at home in Africa”
By promoting on Nigerian based music blogs, radio and TV stations Ken-Z believes they now stand a better chance of reaching out to the two worlds.
“People over here know me and with the success my last single, ‘The way’ recorded in Nigeria and the fact that it is playing in both radio and TV stations down there, means I can reach out to the two worlds now.
With ‘Like magic’ and ‘Durty wine’, it is time to draw the attention of Nigerian at home that their sons and daughters are doing good music abroad” He added.
