The much anticipated All Stars Edition of Deejay Saquo’s Star Nite has just been concluded and there was no better way of rounding off in 2013 for an event which has been on since February 2013.
You can say that the postponement of the event from November to December to make it bigger was worth it indeed as it came alive with a different, bigger and better dimension
As usual, it started off with a red carpet moment hosted by one of music producer Sarge Mix who is also a member of Team Star Nite. Sarge stood in for Zanders FM duo Jegz B and Princessa who were not available to take their place at the event where they have consistently hosted the red carpet for more than six editions.
The event which marked the 10th edition of Star Nite kicked off with DJ DCT on the wheels of steel.
Scott opened the stage paving way for RayDee who performed his trending hit ‘London girl’ before the listed artistes took to the stage.
Obidi came in first followed by BGM and then KozyG who thrilled the crowd with the chorography his dancers provided. His performance ensured that the first three listed artistes are worth being on the All Stars list.
MC X who anchored the event invited the comedian duo MC Tboy and MC Banana Mouth who kept the crowed laughing all the way with their jokes.
The next act for the night was one of renowned rapper, LMG who was also one of the nominees in the just concluded Otown Gist Personality of the Year Award. He of course did not disappoint his fans and further set the atmosphere on a higher level with his hit track ‘one Bottle’ which he performed with fellow rapper Ill Thotz..
Very fast rising female singer Floxy whom amongst others was the only female nominee for the Otown Gist Personality of The Year Award was on stage after LMG. Her performance was a bit interrupted due to a little technical problem which was resolved within a very short time.
Pattsy Chizzy came after with a performance that restored the tempo of the event after the short break paving way for the fantastic dance group ‘Master Piece’ who undoubtedly thrilled the crowd with their scintillating performance.
Floxy came up again to finish what she started and this time she performed the single ‘I gat you’ alongside her elder brother, KozyG whom she featured on the track.
The event also featured the presentation of Otown Gist Personality of the Year Award to Deejay Saquo by the Otown Gist Entertainment crew.
More thrilling performances from XBusta, H2O and DawnTawn wrapped up the event which will be the last for 2013 and a good memory for fans of the event to go home with till 2014 when the event will come alive again.
