Singer Floxy said she and her crew are ready for the OGB’s ‘The Youth the Future’ event at Aba, Abia State.
The event which is billed for Friday, December 6, 2013 will have Floxy sharing the stage with the likes of Burna Boy, Fly Kay, Aizbag, Zikay, Romy, Drills, Exnel, Collenshy and others at Luxury City Hotel, Aba, Abia State.
Speaking to www.otowngist.com, the singer said it will be a tough one but at the same time fun because she would be doing the only thing that makes her happy at the moment.
“When I get on stage, I let everything go, I just want to sing and dance with every energy my body can produce. This is what I love doing and I don’t think it will be different from others aside the fact that we want to add new things to what used to be”
Floxy who would be performing in her home state for the first time said it will nice taking her act home.
Although she is not sure about how the crowd at Aba would react to performances, she is still optimistic that music is music everywhere and performance will always be appreciated no matter how hard the crowd is.
“Aba has not been my city, but Abia is my State and it would be nice to see what the crowd there looks like.
I’m aware that different cities have different mentalities but I won’t let that affect me on stage. I’ve been working with my dancers, adding new moves to what people used to know us for.
I don’t want to impress the people of Aba on Friday; I want to live them astonished when I get off the stage. So far, we’re ready for Aba” she added.
The Youth the Future event is organized by Nigeria born United Kingdom based top model cum rapper, OGB in partnership with underwear makers BYC.
The event will also feature award for blogger, DJs, artistes and comedians in their various categories.
