Maybe Hot 99.5 FM Owerri’s Stanley Akalanu [E-Sure] was showing how much he has changed [repented] since last year when he marked his 27th birthday with a cake made in the shape of a giant Holy Bible.
The event which was held at the premises of the Owerri based radio stations saw entertainers, friends and well wishers celebrate him in their numbers.
Everyone was surprised when E-Sure declared his age, although comedian Banana Mouth jokingly sang a counter verse in the ‘Happy birthday’ song to express his doubt [Comedians always crack jokes right?].
The diehard Manchester United fan chose a Holy Bible ahead of a Manchester United logo cake which he used last year, but to me, only an extreme Man U fan can attempt that feat owing to their current form and position in English Premier League table.
The event ended up as a star studded one, which is rare for someone who is not an ‘On-Air Personality’.
Various wishes and prayers were made for E-Sure at the event which turned to be a meeting point for entertainers and their fans who never missed to take picture with them.
Good thing for the January boy, see you at 28.
