After surprising a lot of people by staging the first edition of his awards, E-Sure Celebrity Awards, the CEO of the outfit, Mr. Stanley Akalanu aka E-Sure has revealed that no one believed he could hold the first edition alone let alone thinking of the second.
E-Sure who works with Hot 99.5 FM Owerri said people have already written off the second edition of the awards believing it will never hold.
Most people believed he does not have what it takes to hold the event in terms of pedigree and finance but the he never let those comment affect him.
He’ll rather choose to work towards a surprise for his critics than engage in war of words with them.
“I am really working hard to make the second edition of the awards a memorable one. We want to improve the standard of the event as well as reducing the number of awards to be given out.
Everyone will not get it at once, some people will get this year and if they keep working hard, they’ll retain it but if they fail, someone else will surely take over from them.
There will always be someone who doesn’t love what you are doing, so it is normal and I don’t see any reason why I should be worried about that” He said.
No date has been released so far but E-Sure revealed that he is working towards high class sponsorship deals that will shoot the event to the top when it finals holds this year.
