The family of murdered United State based promoter, Prince Noel Unegbu has been fixed his funeral for Thursday March 6, 2014, at his home town Umuanukpa, Akwu, Akokwa in Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State.
Prince Noel, the founder of Imo Got Talent and Prince Noel Production Inc, met his untimely death in the hands of two unknown gunmen whom men of the Nigeria Police has so far apprehended one of them.
Although no detail has emerged on the identity of the suspected killer, the police are still working on apprehending the other suspect.
Meanwhile, friends of the deceased in United State of America have fixed a Wake Keeping for him on February 28, 2014 at Igbo Catholic Community Centre 8250 Creek Bend DR Houston Texas.
Prince Noel who was based in Houston will be accorded the last respect by his friends and relatives who might not have the opportunity to attend his funeral in Nigeria.
In another development, his friends in Nigeria are working on staging a fund raising concert in honour of the decease to do whatever they can to assist the family during the funeral.
While the date for the concert billed for Owerri, will be emerging soon, friends of the deceased are thus called upon to be at alert and support the event whenever the date is released.
Prince Noel’s funeral will surely be a sad event as thousands of people have expressed their anger on the manner the Akokwa born promoter was gruesomely murdered in his hotel room.
