Born as Moses Onyedikachi Izuchukwu on March 2, 1990 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Innocent Izuchukwu, from Afikpo North in Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
He was born and raised in the Heartland City of Owerri, the capital of Imo State in Easten Nigeria, where he attained every level of education he has.
KozyG initially started as a footballer and was doing well before quitting for others jobs to keep life going.
His love for music made him join the choir of his church where he exhibited his God given talent.
Professionally, KozyG started doing music with a group of four called Da Fame, who latter broke up because there was no one to support them financially, living him as the only member doing music till date.
Going by the stage name ‘Smoot J’, he did many unreleased tracks with ‘Da Fame’ and being a cool headed and generous guy, his friends named him Kozy General which prompted the change of name to KozyG.
KozyG is born to an average Nigerian family with other siblings amongst whom is a popular Imo State based singer, Floxy [Florence Chinwendu Izuchukwu].
He is a great talent who has the backing of his family to do music and is well known for thrilling performances on stage.
In 2013 he released his official debut track ‘Shiver’, and has since then registered his name in the music industry with other collabos.
He is not signed to any label at the moment.
