Tj who was known for making the hit track ‘Elewe ukwu’ has finally declared his musical talent for God, saying he is ready to dump secular music for gospel.
Tj who spoke to www.otowngist.com said he is tired of being stubborn to the calling of God.
“I have had the calling for three years now and have been too stubborn to answer it. At a point the pressure became too much with prosecutions and other things. I just have to surrender” He said.
The Imo State born singer had struggled to find his feet in the industry after making some national hits and it is believed to be the time he was running from the calling of God.
“I didn’t want it but who am I to say no to God? And I don’t think I will regret it. Anything coming from me henceforth will be gospel and nothing more than it” He added.
Tj will be one of the artistes who have toed that path in the industry, with the like of Kris Okotie starting the movement decades ago.
If this happens, the title, ‘elewe ukwu’ crooner will become a myth and his fans will find something new he will be known for.
