As many believe that Nigerian music industry is still evolving, fresh artistes are springing up from different corners, bringing up their concepts into the game.
One of such is Imo State born rapper, Masterman who revealed to us that he is more comfortable rapping with French than doing it with English.

The Mbaise born undergraduate of Federal Polytechnic Nekede who learnt the language in Gabon where he spend a good number of years, said French language sounds better than English in rap music.
“I know the constraint is that most people will not really understand you no matter how you rhyme and flow. Music is supposed to be a tool for communication and when the target audience does not get the message in the song, it becomes a problem” he said.
Masterman, who is set to make his official debut with the track ‘Bienvenue à O’town (Meaning Welcome to O’town), on Monday, April 7, 2014, however said he would be mixing the languages to ensure he enjoys himself, as well as pass a message to his audience.
