Chief John Iwuala, cerebral and erudite Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, reveals the plans of the fledging party to subject all the Governorship Aspirants to a psychiatric test, to be able to select only those who have stable and sound mind for the primaries.
He stated that this has become necessary and even inevitable, following cases where some State Governors after saying one thing, only resort to do another. This he likened to be as a result of mental instability. According to the Organizing Secretary, Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha is one who does not think before talking, who is fond of making unguarded utterances and acts and talks before thinking.

He then challenged the Governor to come out to the streets once more or at the areas he has so far destabilized like ITC, Imo Concorde Hotels, Specialist Hospital Umuguma and among IBC pensioners and eat akara balls and roasted corns if the people will not mock or boo at him.
On the readiness of APGA in Imo State for the 2015 Governorship election against Governor Rochas Okorochas APC, Chief John Iwuala uttered that APGA has transformed and metamorphosed from being a mere political party to a mass movement. He recalled how Dr. Izikiel Izuogu won for APGA Imo governorship election in 2003, Agbaso in 2007, won the governorship under APGA, clearing 24 out of the 27 LGAs. Chief John Iwuala who spoke exclusively to the Community Watch Dog in his office was reacting to Okorocha’s claim that it was his popularity and wizardry that won the election in 2011 and not the APGA platform he used, saying there was no Okorocha in APGA in 2003 and 2007. Speaking further, he stated that APGA members constitute more than 70% of Imo electorates who repeated the feat for Okorocha in 2011.
Continuing the APGA Organizing Secretary, Chief John Iwuala, boasted that though some people have registered for APC, inwardly in their hearts, they belong to APGA, mentioning at the same time that a number of APC leaders in the state have approached him for accommodation. Membership of APGA he reiterated is a spiritual thing and at the heart of every Imolite.
Chief Iwuala then warned Imolites to wary of antics of Rochas Okorocha who he said is desperate for a second missionary journey after cutting the finger that fed him by abandoning APGA for another party against the instructions of late Ikemba Chukwuemeka Ojukwu who directed that we should not allow our identity to die. He revealed that between 2003 and 2007, when APGA won the Governorship elections, Rochas Okorocha was in PDP and so could not have accounted for the 2011 election victory since he could not have won under any their platform including PDP. In 2015, the sympathy and protest votes which APGA usually enjoys, arising from the clash of interest and personalities in PDP and other political parties, will certainly double.
On the purported removal of the Chudi Onuzo led state Executive Committee (EXCO) of APGA in Imo State, Chief Iwuala who claims he has been at the National leadership of APGA right from its inception, debunked such claims as unfounded and baseless rumours. Sounding optimistic, he said APGA which uses the termite approach in structuring the party is not running the party on the pages of Newspapers and challenged Dr. Maxi Okwu to prove that he is a member of APGA. He wonders why someone who was dismissed from the party several years ago would lay claim to its leadership. “APGA in Imo State will soon witness a “Tsunami” with various party stalwarts flooding into APGA. Among them are most of those who previously thought that they were following a human being but have now realized that they were following blindly. “Rochas Okorocha is an under taker from Ogboko” who has deceived Imolites into believing that he means so many things he says at a time. He said. Furthermore he revealed plans to receive the flux of members of other political parties in the fashion of “prodigal sons”. This will definitely render Rochas Okorocha, the political orphan he is. APGA according to him parades the most credible aspirants in Martin Agbaso, Capt Emma Iheanacho, Chief Unegbu formerly of CBN and Citizens Bank, Okey Eze, an international oil magnet who are in a world of their own, very different from the doubtful academic background of Governor Rochas Okorocha.
