The rumours that Hot 99.5 FM Owerri DJ, Deejay Saquo has quit from Valencia Lounge has turned out to be one of the biggest in town at the moment.
With people saying that Saquo is quitting playing for the Lounge that has played host to his Star Nite which has seen 13 successful editions but hit the rock on April 25, 2014 when the 14th edition of the event failed to reach conclusion because of technical difficulties.
A source said Saquo was just expressing his frustration on the actions of the Lounge to withdraw their support for the event which they have built together with Deejay Saquo.
On May 2, 2014, Deejay Saquo marked his birthday with an announcement of a debut appearance at NV Lounge of All Seasons Hotels.
Although Deejay Saquo has not made any statement that he has quit the lounge where he is also an official in their record label, the rumour is growing strong everyday and that could affect the venue of subsequent editions of Star Nite.
Sledge, a staff of Valencia Lounge said he is not aware of the rumour about Saquo quitting because Saquo has never said anything to the management of the Lounge about leaving for another place.
Could it be that Deejay Saquo was just making an appearance at NV Lounge or he was making his first appearance as their staff?
Does it mean he now works for both Valencia Lounge and NV Lounge? How possible could it be to combine two high profile lounges? Time will tell.
