A youth activist in Imo State, Prince Joseph is organizing a one day event tagged ‘Appraise Democracy Dinner Concert’.
The event which is packaged by his Reformers Initiative Group will be featuring talks from bankers, lawyers, politicians, comedians, doctors, artistes, pastors, businessmen, etc. and it is geared to increasing the political awareness amongst youths as well as spur them into participating in healthy ways.
“The political situation in the country is nothing to write home about because there is no fair play in the scene so people have not actually felt what a real democratic society should be.
The event will appraise what has been achieved so far and also suggest a way forward that will see Nigerians especially the youths feel the dividends of democracy as well as a true democratic society in the country”
The dinner, which will also feature performances from artistes, dancers and comedians, is billed to hold on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at De Simeons Fast Food, Ekwema Crescent Ikenegbu, near Rosy Arts Theatre, Owerri, Imo State by 4:00pm.
Tickets for the event have been fixed at: Teen – N500; Flat/Youth – N1000; Couple –N2500 and VIP – N3000.
