Kings Music artistes Mr Kyze and Cruz are among the artistes expected to grace the 9th edition of African Night, a one night praise programme by Methodist Youth Fellowship in Orji Circuit, Diocese of Owerri.
The programme which started nine years ago will be going back to its original venue St Silas Methodist Church Orji, Uratta in Owerri North LGA OF Imo State having moved from All Saints Methodist Church World Bank, Owerri in 2012 to Wesley Methodist Church Amakaohia, Owerri in 2013.

The event which is packed with word ministrations, prayers, music, drama and other special features will be taking place on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 8:00pm till dawn.
Speaking to www.otowngist.com, the chairman of the planning committee Bro. Tasie Ugochukwu Tasie said “African Night has gone beyond a Methodist Youth Fellowship Programme to an interdenominational youth event. There has never been any other programme like it because we didn’t build it on Methodist Youths but on Youths from other churches.

It is a special night when we all come together to worship God in the African way. It is a night of pure praise and worship to God almighty”
Bro Tasie also revealed that special features like Ada and Opara African will be retained urging those who wish to contest for it to submit their names before the day of the programme.
 The event will also feature ministrations from youth choirs of Assemblies of God Church, Anglican Church, REMA, FECA, Methodist Campus Fellowship amongst others and this is an open invitation for everyone who would love to worship God in the African way.
