Female rapper, Chidinma Okoroafor aka Amarula has bragged that she still has what it takes to become the number rapper in the Nigeria.
Amarula who is also called ‘Da Rap Queen’ has seen her lots risen to a great height in 2014 having shared the stage with the best artistes in Imo State and Nigeria as whole in recent times.

Speaking to www.otowngist.com, the Federal Polytechnic Nekede undergraduate said that she knows what she has in her and light will be shinning within a short time.
“Combining music with school will require an extra effort and having in mind that I must make it in either sides keeps me on my toes.
Good female rappers are hard to come by and that has actually helped me. I listen to the best in the game and still create my own style because I don’t really love to sound like someone else.”
She agreed to the fact that people’s expectations are so high at times but that has helped her to keep improving in her music.
“At times I don’t really know what people expect to see on stage especially those of them that are seeing me for the first time. When a lot of publicity has been done for an event and the MC is screaming your name out of the speakers, one question always come to my mind; ‘what do they want from’. I tell myself ‘the best’.
I give my best everyday while making sure my today is better than yesterday”
Haven been nominated for Otown Gist Personality of the Year Award under the female artiste category alongside fellow rapper Treasure Gold, singers; Floxy, Sparkle and Vivada, Amarula said winning the award will be a great thing for her because she is working towards living a win-win life in her time as a rapper.
