“I have seen people come up with different concepts in Imo State, but this is one simple thing I want to do.
I know it will be difficult but just like starting the online version was difficult, I will overcome this. It will be a little easier because I have a team already but this is actually when we need more hands to make the project worth it.
Through this project we want to take Imo State entertainment industry to the people who cannot go online to read”
Hardy however called on all stake holders of the entertainment industry to come into the project to make it a success because a newspaper like that will be nothing without the right people showcasing what they have through it.
“I have made calls and sent text message to almost everyone I know because the concept is to report events in the state and its environs not just some unsure events taken place in faraway Lagos State.
If we get this project working, it can pave way for others to spring up and this will go a long way to revolutionize our dear industry to the level we have only seen in our dreams” He added.
Otown Gist Entertainment Newspaper will be the first of its kind in Imo State and its environs should the project come alive according to the projection of the writer cum singer, Hardy who so have has his maiden novel selling in amazon.com, Barnes & Nobles, eBay and other international online book stores.
Hardy then called on students who can report real events from their campuses [especially those in Imo State] or those who wish to be contributor to the newspaper to contact him through 08038704454 or chikisnow@yahoo.com.
