Hardy’s Dad clocks 61: Gets surprise birthday bash from children

On Sunday November 23, 2014, Mr. Bernard Okoro Nwadike, father of writer cum singer Chinedu Hardy Nwadike clocked 61.
In a surprise birthday party organized by the Children of the Ndiokoroji, Arondizuogu born Building Contractor, the children hailed their father as their hero and a man who has given up everything to see that they make it successful in life.

Speaking at the birthday party which took place at Choppi Bar Irete, Owerri West LGA, Hardy Nwadike who is the CEO of www.otowngist.com, described his father as a man whose basic principle of life is to help others.
He said that Mr. B. O Nwadike is a man who would go extra mile to see that others are happy even when it ends up making him uncomfortable.
On his Facebook he wrote “He is not GEJ yet he never had shoes because of me”
Other friends of the family who spoke at the party mentioned several ways in which Mr. Nwadike influenced them for better with one the speakers Mr. Chima, referring to him as the ‘Father of All’.
Responding, the celebrant, Mr. Nwadike described that Sunday as the best day of his life, saying that he is glad he has the best children in the world. He confessed that he never saw the party coming but was glad at the end of the day because it will end up as one day he will never forget.
At the event were his daughters Mrs. Ngozi Ogochukwu and Miss. Chioma Rita Nwadike who masterminded the planning of the surprise party; his sons Ndubuisi Nwadike and Hardy with Emeka Nwadike missing out because of NYSC.
Others were their friends and relatives as well as his only grand-son Obinna.
They all wished him long and fulfilled life, good health and every good thing he can ever wish for.
