The Imo State Police Command has out-gunned four men of the under-world as the alleged armed robbers met their waterloo while robbing some people at Nekede near Owerri, the Imo State capital on Sunday November 30, 2014.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Abdulmajid Ali, speaking to journalists on the incident, said the alleged armed robbers met their death when they engaged his men on gun battle at the robbery site.
Expatiating further, the Commissioner of Police said that the robbery incident took place around 8:30pm on Sunday and that the alleged robbers, who failed to the superior fire-power of his men, died before they could reach hospital for medical attention, even as one Lucky Amaechi was lucky enough to be arrested unhurt and is now helping the police in their investigations.
When the arrested Mr. Amaechi, aged 23 years, was interviewed by the journalists, he confessed his involvement in the crime.
