Members of Methodist Church Nigeria in the Diocese of Owerri have been urged to start warming up for their forthcoming diocesan Night Vigil which will be taking place on Friday, March 6, 2015.
According to the Diocesan Prayer Coordinator, Rev. Chibuzor Ajagba the vigil which is the first for the year will be taking place at St. Silas Methodist Church Orji, Uratta, Owerri North LGA, Imo State, and he expects to see every Methodist in the diocese at the programme.

Rev.  Ajagba explained that the programme is part of the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Denis Mark’s plans to revive the diocese spiritually adding that the programme will offer members an unforgettable  opportunity in the presence of God.
“It is a night of prayer through open heaven. We will be praying together as a church against our individual, family and collective challenges. All Methodist in the Diocese are expected to be there with their friends because it will be a night of power no one can afford to miss” He said.
With Very Rev. E. O. Chkukwu’s Orji Circuit hosting the vigil, Rev. Ajagba revealed that Rev D. O. C. Dimgba will be ministering at the vigil alongside other men and women of God in the diocese, while the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Denis Mark, remains the chief host of the gathering.
The vigil is tagged ‘In His Presence’ drawn from Psalm 16:11 and there will also be songs ministrations by choirs and individuals as well drama presentation by the host circuit youths.
Members of the Church are then urged to see that they exceed the high turn-up seen at the December edition of programme but most importantly not affording to miss the blessings which await them in the programme.
