Abi Local Government Area, Cross Rivers State born EdemRunyi [AKA Alerun2] has poised to making a massive debut into the music industry with single that will go on to shake the industry when it is released.
Former California, United States of America based rapper cum singer who is now in Nigeria said the contemporary hip-hop influenced him and he is surely going that line.
Alerun2 whose debut single is titled ‘Change’ laughed off the thought that the song will be connected to All Progressives Congress [APC] party which has been using the acronym for campaigns in this 2015 general election.
“The word ‘CHANGE’ has been there before APC and I don’t see anything stopping me from using it in a song that has nothing to do with politics.
Aside being a chant for APC, we are all aware that Nigeria and the world at large need to change things to make this life better for inhabitants of this planet.
“It’s a call to consciousness that we need to change the way we hate other and start loving. We need to change the way we block blessing that are supposed to get to others and let them grow. The world is very large and there is space for everyone”, Alerun2 said.
He also revealed that the track will be featuring KozyG whom he described as one of the greatest singers he has ever seen. He described KozyG as someone who knows the right words to say in a song adding that he never regretted having the singer on the song.
Alerun2’s Change will be going online for the public on Saturday March 22, 2015.
