Some students of Imo State origin who were hired to pep up the crowd that welcomed the wife of the President Dame Patience Jonathan during her last visit to Imo State have lamented the way and manner Chief Tony Chukwu and his agents used them to beef up crowd at the Dan Anyiam Owerri venue of the rally only to deny them earned entitlement.

Speaking to our correspondent, the students through their leader, Comr. Odunze, complained that they were assembled at the Premier Primary School, FST Park Owerri where the accreditation of mobilized students were carried out but that the agent of Sir Tony Chukwu, simply known as “Pastor”, rather than demobilize them fully, exposed them to danger when the money he earlier promised them was after all not paid in full. The implication is that most of the students were short changed for which they are still threatening the lives of their student leaders. Even the drivers of the vehicles that brought the students were not paid in full for which the students’ leaders were consequently placed at their disposal with possible assault and bullying inflicted on them until they pledged to make full payment which has not been accomplished as at press time.
