Delta State born Okia Kingsley Ezemezu [aka King Thunderlight] will be releasing two super singles titled ‘Sugar Baby’ and ‘One Boy’ on Wednesday March 18, 2015.
The Delta-Igbo singer who dwells in the R&B, Afropop, highlife genres revealed that the lyrics of his forthcoming singles will be reflecting how he feels.
According to him, many people have looked down on him previously, and others who were supposed to believe in him never cared to look his way at all.
“It wasn’t funny, but it is no longer a new thing. People just wait to hear the final success story and that is my promise to everyone who looked down on me, as well as those who believed that I have nothing to offer in the industry.
It is so unfortunate that so many people are now in the music industry, but there are still rooms for new people to thrive and jump to the top.
One needs quality and hard work spiced with the grace of God. Anyone can become anything, its just for the person to believe and work towards it.”
King Thunderlight will be joining thousands of Nigerian youths who are vying for the top spots in the Nigeria music industry when his singles are released on next week Wednesday and all he can say about is, “I am not worried at all. It will be win win for me, that’s all I know. I am now here, whatever comes, I’ll be ready to face”
