Afan Izang popularly known as A’Fan is a song writer, Singer and a Rap artist. Born and brought up in Jos, Nigeria. A’Fan got inspired to take music as a career right from his neighborhood in Jos courtesy of MI Abaga, Ice Prince Zamani and Jesse Jagz. Growing up around does top Nigerian music industry icons today made him good at what he does.
In his career pursuit he has recorded some achievements which made him outstanding and influential in the entertainment industry. In 2009 he won the Night house Sholex Timbo’s One mic One stage One blood rap contest in Abuja, he moved on to participate at the peak talent show in 2010 which he became the overall winner at the Northern region.
Currently, A’Fan is the awarded and pronounced Music Ambassador of Abuja since 2011 when he won the Abuja Talent Competition organized by Abuja Social and Entertainment Group (ASEG) under the platform of Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) powered by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
After all the knowledge and exposure in the entertainment industry, A’Fan decides to drop his official debut single under Iceprince’s Super Cool Cats Label which he titled “NA SHIGO” produced by Sammy Gyang, Mix & mastered by Suka sounds. “Na Shigo” is an Hausa word which means “Am In” announcing his arrival to the music Industry, It’s an Afro-hiphop tune with a fusion of Arewa (Northern Nigerian) traditional touches.
