The saying that nothing good comes easy, has become the basis for the reward comedian MC T Boy is receiving after his Jollof Jokes Concert was tagged as one of its bests in Imo State.
MC T Boy who worked hard to host a standard event, got his rewards when everything went according to plan for him as well as when it turned out that his trumpets were being blown by others, especially guests at the event.
According to one of the guests at the event who spoke to www.otowngist.com, “We got ten folds of value of the money we paid and I am happy everything went according to plan.
As a guest, we are mostly disappointed when we don’t get good value for the money we paid and it makes us lose confidence on the organizers, but what I saw there means I will surely be the first to attend their next event”
The event which had Dede Oneday and other top comedians in Imo State, according to another guest was filled with series of rib cracking moments of laughter. “I laughed until I couldn’t again. It was fun and everything was good, from the comedians to the musicians.
It is a good development for the industry here and this is one way to restore the lost confidence which I see coming back soon” he said.
While reacting to the outcome of the event, MC T Boy said he can only give all glory to God, because he couldn’t have achieved it on all his own.
“God did it for me, even though it will be a lie if I say that we got 100% result, I will still say that it was a huge success. All I can say is thanks to God Almighty who did it all for me and also to everyone he used to help make the event a huge success.
This one has come and gone and I am now looking forward to the next things in my career which will be unveiled soon”
