After bagging the most active blogger in Imo State award at the just concluded Imo State Social Media Awards, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike did not waste time to dedicate the award to God.
In a face book post the following day, the Ndiokoroji Arondizuogu, Okigwe LGA born writer said, “To God almighty who created me this way, I say thanks for these gifts and abilities. Most especial for the gift of friendship, love, happiness and the best family in the world. Thank you Jesus”
In another dedication to his friends, fans and family, he slated it this way, “as the Most Active Blogger on Social Media… I only write but I don’t read. To all my readers, friends, enemies, ex & current this or that, to my family, all those who believe in me, and highly qualified organizers of the award McBannana Mouth, I want to say a big Thank you”
Speaking shortly after receiving the award at Ibari Ogwa Entertainment World on Sunday, July 12, 2015, Hardy as he popularly called encourage young writers especially to keep doing what they are doing because some day, someone somewhere will identify and project them.
He added that God does not overlook people who are working hard and will surely ensure that their efforts do not go in vain as long as they don’t give up, before the award comes.
Chinedu Hardy Nwadike won the award which is his second for the year through his blog www.otowngist.com which he has used in promoting entertainment in Imo State as well as his doggedness and assertive attributes in the use of social media.
He is a seasoned writer who has written two novels which are presently selling internationally as well as many other articles scattered on the internet.
At the event which was chaired by Prof. Nnamdi Obiaraeri, former Dean Legal Studies Imo State University (IMSU) other top dignitaries who were also honoured at the event include Hon. Chinedu Offor, Hon. Emmanuel Orie members representing Onuimo LGA and Ohaji/Egbam LGAs at the State House of Assembly respectively; ISOPADEC MD, Prince Henry Okafor; the immediate past SA to Governor Rochas Okorocha on Social Media, Hon. IK Ogbonna; Hon. Emma Duru a media and youth activist amongst others.
