Edo State born Akhabhoa JohnBull aka Walter Anki is recounting his journey so far in the industry after releasing his debut single last month.
The Esan North East LGA born singer who previously started as a dancer, recalled all the events he performed in, saying that it was more of a mixed thinking as to which dirction he was going to follow in the entertainment industry.
“It all started as a dancer, dancing to all kinds of music especially step dance, ghetto made music and dance hall vibes in street jams, carnival, gigs and also appeared in some local dancing competition” hye said.
Walter Anki went on to say, “I switched from dancing to miming and rapping in school and with friends in the ghetto going by the name Walter Anki.
In 2011 I joined a dancing group known as All Saint Squad, we performed in a lot of shows within and outside the Edo State and after some time I left the group for a solo career as a singer, song writer and entertainer”
With the singer sure of what to do, he made a move for his first single title ‘Forward Ever’ which was released in July 2015 featuring fellow singer, Treasure Treezy, and produced by Crown Prince.
With the song already making waves, Walter Anki is sure that the new chapter he has taken will do nothing but elevate him to the next level in life.
With the promotion of the song going on, the singer is also looking at other available options in his career which include shooting a video and recording another hit song for his fans which are increasing every day.
