The euphoria of the third edition of Fashion Meets Music has come and gone with models, designers and awardees facing the next chapters of their lives. One thing certain was that history was made with class and style displayed in a way none other has ever done in the Heartland City especially in the capacity which Whispers Magazine packaged the event.
One lesson learned from the event is that some people don’t read posters before attending the event and others also do not prepare very well to attend the event because they believe nothing will ever happen to them.
Well, if you believe the whips will never exist in this part of the world, then think no more as we have revitalized our Fashion Police especially on this event where we have all pictures from red carpet to the stage.
We will be looking at some personalities that attended the event, what they wore and how they wore it.
You must also know that the models are innocent, but the designer is guilty because they selected the outfits. So let’s go down to see the styles that rocked the night, giving them thumbs and knocks as we think they deserve.
Bold designs I must say, but they are not mostly for everyday event except for some of them and in as much as the creativity of the designer will be given thumbs, the knocks will start from the first model. She wore the wrong bra, which is red and I think a black bra would have been the best for that outfit. This will never go well for ladies who never got flat tommy as a gift. But I what I see behind is very classy will surely catch many eyes in an event and red carpets.
Now who is this lady that received an award on behalf of Hon. OZB, she looks it. She actually knew where she was coming. Her gown would go for a Nigerian Cinderella and her shoes are cool too. Thumbs for you sweet lady.
WTF!!! Who is at the middle and by the left? Did they even know they were going on stage in a fashion event? For the lady at the middle, her tube should be showing something like hanging towers but I see nothing. When you were those to a fashion show, you need to be bursty, and it has to be the selling point of your outfit. I don’t want to waste all my knocks this early but she is getting many of it, same with the lady beside her. Offence is coming on stage like that!!
To qualify for an organizer in this event, you have to look good at least. He chose the right shirt, jacket and trousers but what’s that in his pocket? Red? Maybe they were meant to match with the carpet. Thumbs and knock.
This outfit will be good if we call it style blocking. They chose the right model for the night, but the blue is too much. But a diehard Chelsea Fan can wear it any way. Knocks.
Is this for mourning or something like it? The black is just too much and it makes the whole thing dull. It is a classy design but not the black all the way. Maybe someone else would like it, but not for me or anyone I can control.
Hmmmm. This design eh. It’s hot and not just for everyone. Before you wear this, be sure the cup can hold everything. You don’t want to see your flesh pouring away. And if you have that kind of back with contours, forget it because you will end up being the next object of ridicule on social media. Thumbs.
Cynthia Osondu winner of Best Female Fashionista. I don’t just know what to say about her outfit. She is just out of this world with what she is wearing. Someone asked, ‘is that a bra or part of the dress?’ lol. She wore it and with matching shoes, [and bra] no wonder she won in that category. Thumbs.
If she is a model, then is a good one. Stephnie Adaora won the Best Female Model that night and take a look at her. She is sweet and knowing that her legs are gorgeous, she also displayed them. Her outfit is simply and classy but another thing I love are her shoes and you might be wondering why she chose purples shoes until you see her lips. They just match like Romeo and Juliet. Many thumbs dear. You killed it.
This is another outfit I saw and what am I supposed to say on this one. She knows her size up and down and she wore something that will simple saw ‘hey I’m big and sweet’. She revealed what must be seen and hid what needs to be hidden. It’s a lovely outfit joor. Thumbs.
Not much to be said, but when this lady climbed the stage, many were like WTF!!! But she will be getting my thumbs. Nice jeans and you took advantage of your hips and stuffs like that. Your lips and your shoes will comfort you and your hair sure threw a little highlight on your top. I love the boldness, even though the pink shoes looked as if they are off. Thumbs.
XBusta is known as a rapper and never has he been seen as a fashionista. He wore three major things: the cap, shirt and shoes. Someone said they shirt look like diapers but I don’t really see any reason for the red shoes because they are off. Knocks.
Wait! Wait!! [In Oga at the top’s voice] Hardy [CEO www.otowngist.com and winner of Best Blog at the event] would never have known that his own team will be reviewing his outfit. He invented the knocks and thumbs but will be getting his share for mismatching his belt and shoes. Aside that, he chose the right shirt, jacket and trousers. Oga boss, collect your thumbs and one knock. And by the way, nice shoes.
No way! This can never be real. Did P-Ice wear a suite without socks? Not even with that shoe and he is up there where the whole crowd is watching. Wonderful choice on the blue but the belt error is same with Hardy. He is still guilty of more on his choice of shoes and being naked on it. Knocks.
Now this is cool. From her hair necklace, waistline to her shoes. The belt camouflage is really cool because while you are actually looking to see through that area, she will pass you. Black and white is also cool and never too dull or bright.
You wore everything right as well as the smile. Thumbs.
Oga Yung Roc na wetin na? Did you come from office or did you forget the date of the event and someone came and reminded you. I bet your 2014 Christmas cloth will be better that this outfit. It looks like you are just coming from office to the venue. The event’s name is Fashion Meets Music, so next time, get some fashion in your outfit.
Her outfit, Eagle’s Touch actually won the Best Makeup Artiste and I have come to wonder if she only has a mirror for others and not for herself. Her dress would be making much sense if it was tighter and the shoes are also too big for her legs as well. I don’t think I love the glasses in anyway, even though they might be medicated. She looks like a computer programmer and looking at her, you will do she is just a makeup guru but not a freak. Her nails are not even painted. Knocks my dear CEO, show me some fashion.
Now if you were at that event you will surely know that DJ Packy came with the largest crowd. Must all DJs wear headphones everywhere? I wonder if he wears it to sleep. The white on white is something I’m still looking at, same thing with that shoe or should I say boot. You really wanted to look outstanding but ended up looking noticeable. It’s a nice outfit still. You can still do better. Knocks and thumps.
Imagine the advantage guys have on red carpet? Anything goes and even when they look like they are attending a cousin’s traditional wedding, they are still cool. Oga Chyna you look good but I don’t wanna show your shoes, they see so big. Next time bro, get a suite. Thumbs and knocks
