The State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has announced that his 53rd birthday celebration would be low-keyed.
The governor is at the moment pre-occupied with the task of ensuring that his industrialization policy at fighting poverty among the Imo populace and provide jobs for the jobless in the State is realized.
The governor has also decided to celebrate the 2015 edition of his birthday with the students of Rochas Foundation collage in Kano who also will be having their graduation ceremony on 10th of next month.
Governor Okorocha regrets the inconveniences the postponement might have caused those who had planned to witness the event.
The governor equally wishes to appreciate Imo indigenes and all those who have identified with him personally, through phone calls or sent him congratulatory messages through the media to wish him happy birthday and pray that God would bless them.
He thanked those praying for him on 53rd birthday to also pray for the State and Federal Government that God would use them in the development and growth of the State and the Nation.
