The proposed premier of the movie ‘Phyno Must Hear Diss’ by Maxwel Oziri aka 2Tall who is dubbed as a Phyno look alike, was crashed by the police who took the tall rapper cum actor away.
The event which was billed to take place on December 20, 2015 at De Legend Hotels Owerri, Imo State came to an end when Darlington Chinaka aka Flamzy who also starred in the movie stormed the venue with police men and arrested 2Tall.
An eyewitness account has it that the police men stormed the venue in the middle of the event and after a while of confrontation and forceful closure of the event, they won the battle and made away with 2Tall, leaving his guests stranded.
According to Flamzy, 2Tall went behind his back to premier a movie which he is the executive producer.
He added that even though 2Tall was the main character in the movie, he financed the project with the money he initially budgeted for the promotion of his songs. He said that 2Tall who has been a close friend and ally had failed to bring Francis Odega who was on the initial plan of the movie even when he [Flamzy] released money for it.
He cited 2Tall’s misappropriation of funds and the action to premier the movie as total betrayal and even when it is so unfair to lockup a friend in the police cell, he was left with no choice.
2Tall was only released on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 and the next thing would be for them to work out a settlement plan with the lawyer, who oversaw the signing of their initial agreement on the deal.
Friends of the duo have condemned 2Tall’s action to remove Flamzy as the executive producer on the movie and also to hold a premier behind his back as well as the absence of his name from the invitation cards and event banners.
