A group under the aegis of Mbieri Union Federated, Lagos, will on Saturday, December 5, 2015 honour their illustrious son, the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere.
The President of the group, Mbieri Unions Federated, Mr. Ignatius Ewurum revealed this while speaking to the newsmen on the forthcoming 2015 Mbieri Nwotuoke Day celebration, which holds at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State.
He said the event is usually organized to chart a way forward and to contribute towards uplifting the welfare of the people of Mbieri especially in the area of community development.
Speaking further, Mr. Ewurum said it was an unanimous decision of Mbierians to honour their son who is the number two citizen of Imo State for making them proud. He said his people are happy for his five star performances in support to his principal, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the Governor of Imo State.
He averred that Prince Madumere’s good conduct, humility and hard work have given them his kinsmen the pride of place. He also observed that his good nature and leadership qualities have endeared him to many Imolites especially his innate humility that has created a harmonious relationship and peace in the government of Imo State.
He therefore called on the indigenes of Mbieri Ancient Kingdom, the good people of Imo State, friends and well-wishers to join the people of Mbieri in Lagos as the honour one of the Imo bests.
