Governor Okorocha of Imo State and his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere have commiserated with the National Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress, South East, Chief Emma Eneukwu over the unfortunate passing of his wife.
Governor Okorocha made this statement shortly after the burial of late Mrs. Chidinma Eneukwu at their country home in Udi, Enugu State.
While addressing the newsmen, he regretted the passing of the wife of the National Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress whose contribution during the struggle days of the party was not unnoticed given her total support to her husband.
He averred that he understands how the APC leader will feel given the unfortunate death of his wife which occurred at her prime and at a time her care, love and total support matter most.
He therefore called on all and sundry to pray for God’s consolation to Chief Eneukwu and family.
His words; “We are pained over this unfortunate incidence because we are not unaware of those invisible strategic roles she played during the turbulent stage of our great party, All Progressives Congress.
While we mourn and share in this pain with our party leader, brother and friend, we are in the know that we cannot console him enough. It is our prayer that God will grant you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
He used the opportunity to enjoin everyone to learn the hard lesson death teaches, saying that whatever life gives, should be utilized in service to God and mankind since no one has the control of the lives he lives.
While praying to God to grant Chief Eneukwu and family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, he also prayed for the repose of her soul of others that departed.
