In a jibe on afro pop and R&B singer Floxy, comedian Tonygreg Ukaegbu aka Mc Banana Mouth has called her a quack artiste who is being used by her manager Hardy.
MC Banana Mouth made the comment on February 25, 2016 in a Whatsapp group which he created for Imo State based entertainer after the singer left the group for no reason.
When people asked who left the group, he said “Na Floxy, one quack musician Hardy dey f***ck come de deceive her, he must have asked him to run away”
He went on to say “Hardy very soon that girl will be selling Okro for Ekonunwa, u no go leave her” after which he declared that there are just two female artistes in Imo State and Floxy has never been one of them. Citing only Treasure Gold and Amarula.
Having set up the Whatsapp group to up his CV so that he could be appointed the Special Adviser on Entertainment to His Excellency Governor Rochas Okorocha, comedian Mc Banana Mouth might be heading for a hot seat with people already criticizing his god approach in the said group.
With elections already held in the online group, heads of entertainers’ organizations who are not part of the group have also called it a joke and fraud since no true association could exist only online when the people involved are all in Owerri.
One of such is the Professional Disk Jockeys Association of Nigeria, PRODJAN, whose President DJ Timberland recently sent out message calling it fraudulent and proposing sanctions for DJs who associate with the group.
So far, Floxy and her management are yet comment on the issue as Hardy’s lines were switched off when he was called.
