The entire Ndiokoroji community will be thrown into mourning as they bid final farewell to a veteran educationist, Rev. David OnyenucheyaNzom whose remains will be laid to rest on Friday, February 26, 2016.

Revd. Nzom  who was ordained a minister in Methodist Church Nigeria in 1994 by the then Prelate of the church His Eminence Sunday Mbang has been described as one of the greatest educationists in the history of entire Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State and he died on Thursday December 3, 2015 after protracted illness at the age of 65.

Between 1981 and 2003, Rev. David OnyenucheyaNzom served as a principal in more than seven schools including Bishop Onyeagba Memorial Secondary School (BOMSS) Ndiokoroji where he was the Pioneer Principal.

His service to mankind through the church, school and various advisory boards and committee he served in has been described as second to none in the area and a reason why he has been tagged an irreplaceable loss for his family, community, church and entire area.

With the number of people who had gone through his tutelage both in the schools and church, he was also described as one man who has spoken to all, a man of the people, an elder and a great servant whose legacies needs to be immortalized.

He is survived by his wife Ezinne Carline OluchiNzom, two daughters Mrs. Chiemerie Light Ugochukwu, Miss Success OziomaNzom; a son Master Joshua David Nzom and hosts of other relations.

His remains will be laid to rest at his home town, Ndiokoroji in Okigwe LGA, Imo State on Friday, February 26, 2016, by , with an outing service the following Sunday February 28, 2016.
